This is the model you need to pick if you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list, making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects rugs and the double side brush helps to remove debris from corners.
The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as good. The mop rotates quickly and utilizes 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is easy to install and performs well. The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it can handle mopping and vacuuming. The robot is divided into two components which include a dry bin and water tank that can be easily snapped in and out and a mopping module that is equipped with a microfiber pad. It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping, but it does mean that you don't have to worry about changing out disposable bags or refilling the tank of water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its greatest feature was its precise map of your floorplan that it uses to draw the path to follow when cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture carpets, rugs, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option to set 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers that help to protect specific areas of your home from being swept with a mop.
The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at collecting pet hair. It was able to capture some of the hair that shed by our cats, and even made it into the nooks and crannies on our stairs where other robots have struggled. It was silent and also had a few pleasant jingles that indicated when it was beginning or completing its task.
Its biggest drawbacks were its simplistic app and the need to change out the modules whenever switching between mopping and vacuuming. The app can't keep multiple maps. This could be a problem if your home has multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want an intelligent robot that is capable of mopping and vacuuming.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, but it also has distinct features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its huge dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 milliliter dust bin.
The base also has a number of control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning job or recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a wonderful feature for parents who are concerned about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

This was a rare incident however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its app.
The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for an industry dominated by boxes.
